Schedule a listing appointment
Carve out an hour of your time for a seller’s consultation with me. During this meeting, I’ll provide some preliminary information on the market value of your property. My office also looks into comparable properties. Be prepared to talk about your desired selling price.
However, it’s also important that I know why you want to sell your home. We’ll discuss what (if anything) needs to be done to get your home in selling shape. Finally, I’ll go through what services my team will provide for you as the listing agent.
Let's make it official!
Before we can make the next steps, you will need to sign a listing agreement. Transparency, honesty and integrity are paramount to how I do business. Once you have decided to hire me to list your home, a listing agreement will put all of us on the same page. Cliches about paperwork and real estate are there for a reason! Expect to sign a slew of paperwork to get your house on the market.
At this phase, it’s time for real talk. We’ll discuss the marketing strategy and plan to sell your business.
Expect some honest feedback on what repairs and upgrades need to be completed before we take marketing photos of your property. It’s our goal to get your home ready for the market, which typically entails:
- decluttering and cleaning
- minimizing personal items
- painting to neutral colors
- increasing curb appeal, etc.

Listing your home
Every property is unique. It’s our job to highlight what makes your home stand out.
We market properties using a variety of technology, platforms and methods. In addition to ensuring your property is listed on MLS, we also promote it on social media, direct mail campaigns, advertisements, open houses and much more.
Every home has a story to tell, and we want to tell a story that attracts the right buyers. The messaging will paint a picture and enable buyers to see themselves making lasting memories.
Receiving, review and accept an offer
Together, we will review the right offer. As your dedicated listing agent, your best interests are what’s important.
Once you have accepted an offer, the buyer will complete their due diligence. This includes a home inspection and appraisal of the property. My team will negotiate and provide important feedback to help you get to closing day with a smile on your face!
